In this episode, Megan and Brooks discuss the Lake Norman Monster, Normie. It’s our first podcast episode so we apologize for any long pauses or mess-ups. We were just learning and really loved recording this paranormal podcast episode for you guys.

Lake Norman Monster Podcast Episode Description

We discuss experiences that others have had in relation to the Lake Norman Monster, aka Normie. Megan also details what she saw once while riding by Lake Norman on her way to visit a friend. She says she sees what looks like a large, 15-foot alligator in the water, swimming with its body exposed above the water.

Megan and Brooks also discuss what Normie could be. There are several theories out there, two of which they explore. One, that it’s a mutated fish due to the power plant being close to Lake Norman. Another that it’s an alligator and possibly a mutated one. And it could possibly be a prehistoric creature like Champ or Nessie, the monsters from Lake Champlain and Loch Ness, respectively. They also discuss whether it could be a large catfish or sturgeon that is just a huge size.

Some of the experiences detail that the creature looked like a dinosaur and was seen eating a duck on the surface of the lake. Some say its eye is luminescent and lights up the lake with one encounter detailing that the eye was the size of a small boat. Could these all by Normie, the Lake Norman Monster? Possibly.

There are so many possibilites of what Normie, The Lake Norman monster could be that it would take days to go through them all. We discussed the main possible culprits based on what eyewitness details are given.
